A while back, some of the explorer notes were released by Wildcard. Even more explorer notes are available in the devkit, which you can find in more detail here. These explorer notes will be scattered across the island for you to find. In addition to the notes, there will also be ruins that show buildings from the past and the mysteries that surround it. Both these things will be added in the patch v242 that is scheduled for May 30!
As stated by Jat: Various historical ruins will be found all across the ARK, we encourage survivors to go on adventures and seek them out as they hold the key into unlocking the secrets of the ARK, providing insight into its true nature! Through the hundreds of handcrafted notes and logs found at these locations, you’ll learn about the backstories of the Survivors in whose footsteps you follow, and what their fates may have been — or perhaps uncover the hidden recipes to powerful dishes, or even what the Wildcard devs drink to avoid sleeping 😛
Who knows! Intrepid Survivors will have to find out by going on the hunt to uncover them all — the first set of Ruins & Explorer Notes releases with the forthcoming Biome update! 😉
We’re looking forward to the notes and the mysteries that it brings with it. Hopefully we will get to know more about the people that have lived on the island before us. To get you even more excited, here are some screenshots of the upcoming ruins!
Will this be coming to xbox one with the new patch?
The ruins aren’t yet available on PC at the moment (scheduled for May 30), so it will probably be added to Xbox in a patch after that date.
hi, i play ark on xbox and its my favourite game, i wish there was an easy way to play the game with other people without them turning my base to moosh, and also im having terrible wild giga problems. but ark is my favourite game and i can’t wait till split screen 🙂
Press on single player and then connect a controller and sign them in and press the start button there’s a delay by a few seconds but it works
